Support / Dial-Up Configuration / Windows NT RAS

i. Open up Dial-Up Networking (DUN):
     Windows NT 4.0: Start > Programs > Accessories > Dial-Up Networking
ii. If you have no current phonebook entries, you will be presented with a dialog box. Simply click on 'OK' to begin the connection wizard.



iii. Type a memorable label in the box - something like 'Dialup Connection' would suffice. Click 'Next'.



iv. This screen is extremely simple to complete, but is VERY important. Simply make sure that ALL 3 boxes on this screen have ticks in them, and you can't go far wrong. Click 'Next'.



v. Enter '0845 123 1708' in the 'Phone number' box. Click 'Next'.



vi. Make sure that 'PPP' or 'Point-to-point protocol' is selected. Click 'Next'.



vii. Make sure 'None' is selected for the Login Script. You do not need one to connect to our Dial-up. Click 'Next'.



viii. Leave the IP address as 0.0.0.0. This will tell the server to automatically assign you a dynamic IP address when you connect. Click 'Next'.



ix. Again, please leave the DNS and WINS server IP addresses as 0.0.0.0 for dynamically assigned details. Click 'Next'.



x. Click 'Finish'.
xi. Click 'Dial' to test your connection.
xii. The connection should connect and logon. If you experience any problems connecting try:     Dial-Up Troubleshooting
