i. Open up your Dial-Up Networking (DUN) Folder:
     Windows 95: Start > Programs > Accessories > Dial-Up Networking
     Windows 98/2000: Start > Programs > Accessories > Communications > Dial-Up Networking
ii. Double-Click 'Make New Connection'.



iii. Type a memorable label in the box - something like 'Dialup Connection' would suffice.
iv. Ensure your modem is selected from the 'Select a Device' drop-down menu and click 'Next'.



v. Enter '0845' in the 'Area code' box. Enter '123 1708 in the 'Telephone number' box. Ensure you select the correct Country from the drop-down box. Click 'Next'.
vi. Click 'Finish'.
vii. Right-Hand click with your mouse over the new connection icon. Click 'Properties' from the menu.



viii. Ensure all options are unchecked apart from 'Enable software compression' and 'TCP/IP'.



ix. Click 'TCP/IP Settings...'. Ensure 'Server assigned IP address' is selected and that 'Specify assigned name server addresses' is selected.



x. Click 'OK' to close the TCP/IP Settings dialog box. Click 'OK' to finish.
xi. Double-Click the new connection to test it.



xii. The connection should connect and logon. If you experience any problems connecting try:     Dial-Up Troubleshooting
